Zirconium Quartet to conclude Historic Washington’s summer music series
WASHINGTON, Ark. -- Historic Washington State Park will continue its annual Music in the Park summer concert series Aug. 19 on the lawn of the 1874 Courthouse.
Zirconium Quartet will be the final performers of the "Music of Entertainment" series.
The group is an award-winning, vocal male quartet from the Little Rock area," Historic Washington State Park said in a press release.
"Music and entertainment are their forte, and they are a perfect fit for this year's lineup. Barbershop quartets were a form of entertainment that began in the late 19th century," the release states.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The park's gift shop will be open for refreshments until 8:30 p.m.
The concert will be from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tours are provided to more than 15 historic sites and museums, including the B.W. Edwards Weapons Museum and Blacksmith Shop.
The park is a division of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism.
